350C for 30-35 minutes in 20cm or so pan - this is made directly in the pan
Oil cake pan with ½ tsp oil
Sift into pan:
1 ½ c flour
1 c sugar
3 Tbl cocoa
1 tsp baking soda
Make three indents:
6 Tbl oil (olive)
2 Tbl vinegar (apple cider)
1 tsp vanilla
1 c water
Mix together and bake. Doesn’t really need icing, but I prefer the white butter one – you might just want to suggest a dusting of powdered sugar, instead of the icing.
Chocolate icing
Melt ¼ c butter
3 – 4 Tbl cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
2 Tbl milk
250 gm powder sugar (1/2 box)
White butter icing
½ c butter
¼ c powdered sugar
2 Tbl milk
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
Add 500 gm powdered sugar and milk as needed
