Ingredients:

• 1/4 shredded cabbage
• 1 thinly sliced cucumber
• 1 thinly sliced red capsicum
• 150g slivered almonds (or chop your own)
• 2 sticks of celery cut on angle
• 1 tbsp butter
• Carraway seeds (optional)

Dressing:

• Oil
• Vinegar
• Mayonnaise
• Mustard

Toast the almonds in a frying pan with the butter and a little salt. Add to salad while hot.

Dressing is a mix of the ingredients to your taste. We prefer more vinegar to oil. Traditional coleslaw has a lot of mayo.

The carraway seeds are a yummy optional add, highly recommended.
